Angela Merkel: In This Day and Age States Must Be Ready to Give Up Sovereignty ?Nationalist Countries are Not Patriotic

Gateway Pundit
by Jim Hoft
November 23, 2018

[Too short to excerpt]

Germany, a country of 82 million, welcomed from 800,000 to over one million migrants and unvetted “refugees?in 2015.

Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomed close over 280,000 migrants in 2016.

In April 2017 after several Islamist terror attacks and after Islamists tried to blow up a bus carrying a top German soccer team, Merkel told reporters that ?a href='https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/04/after-admitting-nearly-2-million-migrants-into-germany-merkel-admits-many-are-terrorists/' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'>there is no doubt?that some refugees pose a security threat.

A new tradition started in Germany this Christmas season.

This year the popular Berlin Christmas market is surrounded by a metal fence reinforced by giant sand bags.

The Diversity barriers are back.

Via Vlad Tepes:

The Express reported:

Mrs Merkel, who last month announced she was controversially stepping down as leader of her party but not as Chancellor of Germany despite previously saying the two roles go hand in glove, said ceding power to a superstate is a better form of patriotism.

She told the event, titled ‘Parliamentarianism Between Globalisation and National Sovereignty? “In this day nation states must today ?should today, I say ?be ready to give up sovereignty.

“But of course in an orderly procedure.?br />
Mrs Merkel said that countries who think “they can solve everything on their own?are simply nationalistic and not patriotic because they “only think about themselves.?/strong>

She said: “Either you are one of those who believe they can solve everything on their own and only have to think about themselves. That is nationalism in its purest form.

“This is not patriotism. Because patriotism is if you include others in the German interest and accept win-win situations.?/em>

Her, Barry & Soros: The faces of the globalist elite.

I'll die before I live under a one-world government ruled by them. And I believe I speak for most here.

There's a word I don't use much, but I use it with her.

:wtf2: "America First" is exactly what it says. It isn't "America Only". That's a pretty solid foundation for America. Idiot. And while we're at it... we've seen the German globalist interest before. Gotta say, not a fan. :whistling:

Seems to me Germany tried to get a lot of countries to give up sovereignty oh, say, 75 or so years ago and it didn't work out that well.

She is wanting to accomplish what Hitler tried to do but without the war. It didn't work then won't work now. Even thought she doesn't out right say it she wants the world under German power but saying it the way she is makes it sound less threatening. The world has no need for German world rulers.

This is the best they can come up with after 2 years of Trump? Surrender, its your only hope? Good decision. Wonder if the German people will buy that crap.

This woman is an idiot, straight up.

It isn't "patriotic" to flood your own country with Muslim immigrants to dilute and destroy it's culture and citizens. And surrendering your country's sovereignty to these vermin and to the UN isn't patriotic eiher. It's flat out TREASON.

Stupid bitch.

One of the fringe benefits of Trump is that treasonous globalists are starting to speak up and identify themselves publicly. Makes it easier to vote them out.

Just like with all the environuts who say we need to give up modern life and go live in caves and eat roots and berries, give up having kids, etc., I say "OK, you first. Or do you just mean other people need to do that?" I'll believe Merkel really means what she's saying when she dissolves the German government and turns over its operations to some other country or the UN. Or does she just mean that other countries should do that?

The globalist elites consider themselves the "idea people". Other than Trump working for free, you don't see any other world leaders making a personal sacrifice.

But all this time, the Left has been telling that Trump is the new Hitler. Could they be... wrong?!?

Of course Trump is the new Hitler! Just look at all the people he's murdered in gas chambers. Not to mention the countries he's invaded, plundered and occupied.

I harken back to Ronald Reagan, for chrissakes. And there's a LARGER issue to be had here.

"In our obsession with antagonisms of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask you, is not an alien force already among us? What could be more alien to the universal aspirations of our peoples than war and the threat of war?"

- Ronald Reagan, Speech to the UN, November 19, 1985.

As a conservative, I'll throw down the gauntlet: Either you choose to believe Reagan, or you don't. Likewise with Merkel. These two KNOW a thing or two.

Although the primary subject of the summit was the arms race of course, other topics were raised, including according to Wikipedia, emigration restrictions.

Reagan was encouraging Gorbachev to lift the draconian restrictions then in place and allow some soviets to leave the country. It is highly unlikely that he was suggesting that any country open its doors to a marauding horde of invaders as Merkel has done repeatedly.

From Wikipedia:

On the second day, Reagan went after human rights, saying that he did not want to tell Gorbachev how to run his country, but that he should ease up on emigration restrictions.

Funny how communist countries always make it difficult to leave. Why would anyone want to leave a worker's paradise?

What’s wrong with you Adam? It’s become very pronounced lately. Too much time to think?
