Hillary Clinton is Out of Power and Her Foundation is Out of Donations

excerpt:

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's philanthropic foundation suddenly can't get any donations, reports the New York Post.

The Post reports that since her 2016 defeat to Donald J. Trump, the Clinton Foundation has experienced a 58% drop in donations from patrons around the world.

Specifically, "contributions plunged from $62,912,331 in 2016 to $26,566,825 in 2017, recently released federal tax filings show."

Likewise, Hillary and her hubby Bill Clinton just can't rake in the cash for their speeches like they used to. The Post's Isabel Vincent reports that "revenue from speeches given by the Clintons also fell from a high of $3.6 million in 2015 to just under $300,000 in 2017. In 2016, during the presidential campaign, the non-profit took in no earnings from speeches, tax filings show."

“We anticipated a decline in both revenue and expenses for 2017, largely attributable to the absence of sponsorship and membership contributions for CGI,?a spokesman for the Clinton Foundation told The Post. “Moving forward to 2018, our work has expanded into new fields ?for example,

Of course they anticipated a decline. Pay for Play doesn't work if there's no Play. Duh.

Moving forward they're going to expand funneling donations for post-disaster recovery into their personal and event planning accounts, joining the effort to take advantage of the opioid epidemic and forge new partnerships with the unwitting to bilk them from their funds that promote early childhood literacy and development. This should tide things over well enough until Hillary's clone Chelsea can plant herself into a suitable position to offer Pay for Play once again.

And what will leftards (isn’t it cool to turn their terminology back at them?) say when the CF begins to lay people off? It might be a good opportunity to talk about the ‘living wage?and the ?%ers?and the ‘wealth gap?

But, it’s not ‘greedy capitalism?when they do it....etc etc etc ad nauseum.

What percentage of Clinton Foundation money goes to real and actual charities that are not controlled by the Clintons?

I have worked for non-profits off and on throughout my career. They can use magic bookkeeping in amazing ways to make their administrative costs lower, for example, or make it look like a program receives much more “real?money than it actually does. I know several that I will never give a dime to again knowing how they are managed.

Why donations to the Clinton Foundation fell: Kennedy

FOXBusiness Opinion
By Lisa Kennedy Montgomery
Published November 27, 2018

excerpt:

Donations to the Clinton Foundation took a 58 percent nosedive when Hillary lost her lay-up election, causing her to sit in a bubbling puddle of self pity asking "wha happened?!"

I'll tell you what happened, this pay-to-play favor factory had no more juice so the money dried up. In 2016, when HRC was on the brink of certain, nearly unchecked, power the sham scam took in an earth shattering 62 million dollars. In 2017 they brought in a measly 26 million. That's gonna leave a mark!

Why would billionaires and corrupt monarchs funnel so much dough unless there were guaranteed favors baked into the gifts? The short answer: they wouldn't, and once it became clear Billary had no more power to offer, they didn't.

The Clintons have always maintained their foundation was an above board, bastion of goodness and a saintly shop where lives were changed by the blessed trinity of shady saviors. When the badness of their campaign became apparent, why would the stinky fiefdoms of Qatar and Oman waste their dozens of millions on a self pitying harpie who was now useful as teats on a bull?

The Justice Department is smelling a whole lotta bull as the true nature of this game is made plain, and now they're investigating illegal policy moves by the former Secretary of State to see if she was pinching whale butts at foggy bottom.

I'm a HUGE fan. Her show is the best hour of my day.

Oh yeah - Great article!

I never knew her full name. My kids used to watch her on MTV, and I like her when she pops up on Fox News. One smart cookie.

Check out her show on Fox Business Network. It's a full hour at 9 pm Eastern, 6 pm Pacific, Monday through Thursday. She's the host (as opposed to some 5 minute segment appearance on somebody else's show), so she's in charge of the content for the full hour. It's a great show. She's a full-bore libertarian, so when Republicans/conservatives screw something up she fires both barrels at them just like she does when Democrats/leftists screw up. She DOESN'T play favorites.

It's one of my favorite shows (and my absolute favorite "news content" show.)

I've reached the point where the only charities I donate to are the Salvation Army and the USO. I believe they have the highest amount of donations used for the right purposes. I will NEVER donate to red Cross, United Way, unicef (or anything connected to the crooked un), and any other group who spend most of their on fundraisers and overpaid executives and administrators.

Yeah, same thought here.

Sure, 26 million < 63 million, but I'd still love to have 26 million dollars! That ain't exactly "crumbs", to use the parlance of Nancy Pelosi. And yup, some people sure are stupid. If they weren't, the Clintons would've "raked in" exactly zero dollars and zero cents.

Oh well, I suppose idiots with lots of money are allowed to flush it down the Clinton toilet if they so choose.

With all due respect, zurg (and this is absolutely not directed at you), it's anything but cool; it's capitulating and sinking to their level which drags everyone down.
